
Magdalena is a Manager in the Real Estate Department at Andersen in Uruguay.
As a Conveyance Attorney, she provides comprehensive legal advice on real
estate transactions, urban development projects, trusts, company ascquisitions,
mortgages, agricultural ventures, privatizations, family and inheritance law, and
autmotive matters. She works with clients drom the Unites States, Europe, and
Latin America.
With several years of experience in conveyancing, Magdalena has developed a
strong track record advising both local and international clients. She has guided
clients through the negotiation and execution of a wide range of commercial
agreements, including the purchase, sale, and leasing of real estate properties -
both urban and rural – for residential, comercial, and industrial purposes. Her
expertise also includes mortgages, pledges, leasing agreements, and real security
interests.
Magdalena regularly advises developers throughout all stages of their real estate
projects, from structuring (including the formation of trusts and companies) to the
sale and leasing of residential units. In addition, she has subtantial experience in
complex inheritance matters, including the drafting of wills, estate partitions, and
overall estate administration.
Her practice also covers comercial and coporate law, with experience in company
structuring under Uruguayan legislation, drafting of by – laws , and preparing the
mandatory filings required by the Central Bank of Uruguay.
Magdalena has completed several professional development courses, including
“Training Course in the Prevention of Money Laundering”, “Update on the financial
Inclusion Law”, and “Study of Title”, among others.
