Magdalena is a Manager in the Real Estate Department at Andersen in
Uruguay. As a Conveyance Attorney, she provides legal advice
regarding real estate transactions, urbanizations, trusts, acquisition of
local companies, mortgages, agricultural enterprises and privatizations,
family and inheritance law, automotive matters, among others, working
with clients from the United States, Europe and Latin America.
In her several years as Conveyance Attorney, Magdalena has
accumulated experience in a vast array of local and foreign deals and
cases, advising clients in real estate transactions and assisting them in
the negotiation and execution of all kind of commercial agreements,
purchases, sale and leases of real estate properties (urban and rural) for
commercial, industrial or housing purposes, mortgages, pledges, leasing
and real security interests.
She has advised developers in all stages of their projects including:
structuring (including the creation of trusts and companies), sales and
leasing of apartments for housing.
Magdalena also has significant experience in complex matters of
succession law, including wills, partitions, and estate management.
Magdalena has experience in commercial matters, structuring of
companies according to Uruguayan law, the drafting of by-laws and the
statements that must legally be informed to the Central Bank of Uruguay.
She has attended various courses such as "Training Course in the
Prevention of Money Laundering," "Update on the Financial Inclusion
Law," “Study of Title," among others.
