Igal Guertein Babic is a Senior Associate at Andersen, where he provides services in the Corporate, Litigation, and Real Estate Departments. In his role at Andersen, he also serves as a legal advisor to the firm’s professionals, acting as a technical and strategic reference in various areas of law. In this capacity, he provides legal counsel to national and international clients in the following areas:
- Civil and Commercial Law: both corporate and litigation advisory on a wide range of matters.
- Negotiation, drafting, and review of civil and commercial contracts.
- Dispute resolution and litigation prevention
- Estate and succession planning.
- Structuring of businesses and investment projects.
- Due diligence processes and mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
- Regarding his academic background, Igal Guertein Babic earned his Law degree from the University of Montevideo, where he also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Economic Criminal Law, a Postgraduate Diploma in Corporate Advisory, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.).
Additionally, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies from ORT Uruguay University, where he was awarded the Academic Excellence Prize
